Where the raw power of rock meets electrifying energy - we are The Superpowers.  Based in Guildford, Surrey, we have been delivering blistering rock tunes with a twin-lead vibe since 2006.  Initially formed from ex-members of infamous touring band The Yogz, the current line-up comprises:

Jules Smith  - Lead/Rhythm Guitar
Derek Lewis - Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals
Rich Hertzell - Bass
Simon Vassallo - Drums, Backing Vocals

We are a serious rock act with a great sense of humour.  Our inspiration comes from a diverse range of rock sub-genres including classic, alternative, punk and indie, creating a unique blend of melodic hooks, energetic performances, and provocative lyrics.  With a live show that mixes punchy rock songs with a sprinkling of cow-punk numbers we head out on stage to entertain and have fun.

We are a fan-favourite at festivals and London music venues, and have been praised for our thunderous live performances and twin-lead guitar extravaganzas.
